In what follows I am going to present you ten changes which make take place in the next three decades of the century.

These possible scenarios have been created by numerous people from the domains in which they are experts. I should tell you that these predictions are pure fiction, and that there aren’t any concrete evidences which indicate that this is the way in which things will evolve.

More Green and Automated Vehicles

Many of the science fiction movies have presented us automated cars. We got to see various characters sitting in the car, while the onboard computer did the rest. The technology is already here, and Google proved it. They used numerous automated cars for their Google Street View project, and these cars have driven more than 3,000 miles on their own. Sure, there was someone in the car, but the people were there in case something bad happened. They drove 3,000 miles without a single accident, and they even went at high speed on the highways. They used a software program and various cameras in order to asses the situation and to make the best decisions. This might happen with all the cars in the following years, and thus the number of traffic accidents might be reduced. Of course, since these cars are driven by computer programs, there is the possibility that they will crash more. Look at the regular software programs, they are full of errors, and they fail on numerous occasions.

The fuels which these cars use might be changed as well, as the majority of them will be based on green fuels, or they will be electrical, and then they will not pollute as much as they do now.

More Commercials

When it comes to advertising, lots of things have changed in the past years. Just compare the commercials we have today with the ones which existed 50 years ago. One thing you will notice is the fact that many of the products which were advertised back in those days are no longer advertised nowadays because the law does not permit it. Think about the cigarettes for example. Those old commercials were designed in the same manner as the ones from our days are designed, but the main difference is that they were for different products. It is very likely that the same thing will happen in the following 30 years; many of the products which we use today and which have commercials and advertisements, will not be allowed to have them in the following years. Maybe the government will decide that they are a hazard for our health, or maybe they will ban those products altogether. Currently the government wants to create a universal packaging for all the cigarettes, the only thing which would differ on those packages being the name of the brand.

Some believe that the same thing will happen with all the products in the future, as all of them will be displayed in the same bland package. These people are also afraid that the advertising will go out of hand in the following years. If you think that the rate of commercials on the TV is bad nowadays, wait until you see what will happen in the following 30 years. There are many video screens nowadays which present you various commercials. You can often see them in the city, on different buildings, and so on. It is very likely that their numbers will substantially grow in the following years, as the process of manufacturing them will be very cheap. Some say that these video panels will be smart, as they will be able to recognize faces, and they will display commercials based on the personal preferences. The face recognition software programs are already there, and they are able to connect online in order to find out more information about a person, an item, and so on, so the scenario is very plausible.

The problem is that we will get sick of all this commercials, and the experts believe that we will react against them. People might start to destroy the video panels as a way of protesting, and that might lead to lots of conflicts and serious clashes with the law.

Sport will Become Globalized and it Will be More Technological

The sport becomes globalized, as you have seen that the 2010 World Cup has been hosted by South Africa, the 2016 Olympics will be hosted by Brazil and the 2022 World Cup will be hosted by Qatar.  Because of that, the schedule for the various major sports competitions will change. For example the World Cup was always held during the summer, but in the following years it might be held during the winter, when the host country is one which has very high temperatures. Franz Beckenbauer, one of the biggest names in soccer stated that the 2022 World Cup should be played during the winter, as the temperatures from Qatar will be very high during the summer.

Other changes will happen in sports as well. For example the technology will be used much more than it is nowadays. There are many sports that are fans of technology, one of them being the American Football. It is very likely that the same thing will happen with all the other sports, including soccer even though many have stated that this will never happen. The technology will be evolved when it comes to the broadcasting as well, and holograms might become a reality in the following 30 years. There are many sports who have shorter and faster versions, such as rugby sevens, Twenty20 cricket, and thanks to that the sport has become much more popular in numerous countries. The same thing might happen with all the other sports, as we might have soccer, American football sevens, and so on.

E-books Will Become Predominant; Writing Style Will Change

People no longer read books as often as they once did. Since they have the TVs, the internet, and all the other technological devices, they consider reading to be useless. Why read when you can watch the movie, or why read a book when you can read an online review? It is very likely that this situation will get even worse in the following years, as people will most likely read much less than they currently do. The books we know and which we use nowadays might become very rare, as it seems that the electronic books are becoming more and more popular. There are numerous writers who have started to ignore the regular printing, and they have released their books only in an electronic format. The problem with that is the online piracy, because as soon as a book is released, it might become available for free, and as a result the authors will not make too much money.

The stories might change as well, and they might use the online language we are familiar with, and which many of us detest. Imagine a book full of words such as “LOL”, “LMAO”, “OMG”, and so on. Even worse, imagine a book written only with that language, with “txt” instead of texts, and so on. Literature would become unbearable if such a thing would happen.

Britain Will Rise Once Again

From an economical point of view, it is believed that a second financial crisis will take place, and it is believed that Britain will be the first to take measures against it. It is very likely that they will reform, because a second economical crisis in such a short time span will be too much for them. It is believed that Britain will be the first who will become financial independent, and thus it will become one of the most successful countries from Europe by 2035. It will be the major cultural center, and the Universities from there will be the most powerful. The experts believe that more and more people will go to live there, and that in 30 years it might become the most populated region from Europe. They believe that Britain will be the biggest financial power, but that they will have problems with China and with the U.S from this point of view.

A similar situation happened with Britain between 1931 and 1950, when they reinvented themselves, when their economy became stronger once again. However after those 19 years when the country became powerful, it started to fall once again, and it is believed that the history will repeat itself once more.
