This year when we think of the hottest colors we think about vacation.

Chic and charming, turquoise has been selected by designers as the color of 2010. After a year of financial losses and uncertainty, people want to escape, and soft shades of turquoise are particularly suitable for this. They stimulate feelings and memories about holiday time when worries are forgotten.

Turquoise is a special color because it incorporates green features, as well as blue ones. Blue is known to have calming, relaxing and welcoming effects, while green is fresh, light and refreshing.

If we put together these two colors, we get smooth and extremely comfortable color.

Renowned designer Tommy Hilfiger said that turquoise inspires the kind of clothes you wear at the beach. It is a versatile color because it can be combined with white and coral during the summer, while in winter can be combined with dark blue and gray.

In terms of interior design, it can be used to revive a room that would otherwise be too formal and boring. It can be used as an accent color in a room to attract attention.

What is wonderful is that it can be combined with many other shades, from black to white, gray, brown, which makes it easier to use in various color schemes.

Turquoise is a bright color, but also a sophisticated one, a vibration transform a simple room in a spa. This color can be mixed with different materials such as dark wood and stainless steel.

It is easy to see why the color of turquoise has been chosen. This is one of the rare colors that can be successfully used in both sets- fashion and in homes.11
