One of the many galaxy clusters from the Universe

NASA has recently announced that it will hold a news conference on Monday, November 15, at 12:30 p.m. EST, in order to discuss the latest find which was made with the aid of the Chandra X-Ray Observatory. The news conference will be broadcasted live on NASA TV, and the media representatives are welcomed to join the conference.

It is currently unknown what kind of discovery has been made, but it is believed that they have discovered a very important object in our cosmic space. It is believed that the object might be a galaxy cluster which contains a core formed from a very cool gas that surrounds a quasar called 3C 186. If the rumors prove to be true, then this would be the most distant such object discovered so far. The researchers are optimistic about the discovery, stating that it would be very useful, as it would be able to provide lots of information about the way in which the galaxy clusters form and develop, and about the quasars as well.

The image which has surface on the internet, shows a very bright blue spot which seems to emanate gas. The observatory has performed an X-ray analysis of the object, and it has been discovered that the temperature surrounding it, is unusually low, especially in the core. The exterior of the quasar has a temperature of 80 million degrees, whereas the center has a “cooler” temperature of 30 million degrees. It is believed that the main reason for the difference of temperature is due to the X-ray emissions from the gas. The image also shows other stars located in the proximity of the newly discovered object, all of them being yellow, a clear sign that they have a much higher temperature than the new discovery.

The scientists are amazed by the age of the galaxy cluster, as it is believed that it is one of the youngest from the galaxy. The cluster is located at 8 million light years away from Earth, which means that it must have been formed quite recently. This is not the first object of its kind, but it is the farthest. There have been numerous other similar objects which contain a very cool core, but none of them have raised so much interest. In most of the cases, the young clusters often merge with older ones, which destroy their cooling cores. The researchers were surprised to see that despite of its young age, the 3C 186, still has an intact core. It is believed that numerous other similar objects might be found in the proximity of this one, especially since the search has not been done too thoroughly.

It is also believed that the gas surrounding the cluster might contain enough energy to give birth to a black hole, which is one of the most fascinating subjects regarding the universe. Some have stated that this cluster might be the ancestor of older clusters, one of them being the famous Perseus. Currently this is the only information regarding the object; more of it will come after the news conference.11
