The New Mozilla 5

The New Mozilla 5
This week the newest version of Mozilla, the Firefox 5 was released for the users. But this release, we have to admit, it is a little bit weird, if we consider the fact that the last version release, was 3 months ago and the Firefox 3, its predecessor, was 3 years ago. This is why it may force us to wonder: will this new version be a really better one or it is going to be just a small improvement of the 4th?
We can’t deny that there are some changes, because there were lots of complaints for the 4th version.  For example, all the users were complaining about the stability of the browser. The browser ceased to work just randomly and for no reason. It is true that it needs some memory in order to work in perfect shape but we speak here about normal working conditions. And when we are speaking about working with various tasks, this can be really disturbing.
The last version brought important improvement as the bigger speed for navigation, the fact that the tab navigation was improved and so on. So, considerable improvements were made but there were also some big and annoying problems that we hope this version could fix. I believe that the naming of this version 5, was a little bit exaggerated because I really do not believe that it is quite a brand new browser, changed and different from the latest version and this is not only my opinion, as far as I have seen.

But let’s not be too suspicious and give it some credit. For example, this new version has fixed the bugs that the previous version had, which I believe it is the most important improvement. After that, there are some add-ons that are not very different from the 4th version. We speak here about the Support for CSS animation and SDK, the new add-on. So, we cannot say that this version until now has done too much for the users. But we can hope that at least will fix the crash problems, will make the browser more stable and will still keep the browsing speed for the tabs.
But again this is to be seen and tested. One thing is definitely sure: the users are going to be the biggest judges and if they won’t like something regarding this new version they will definitely “scream” loud enough. So, let’s trust Firefox this time and give it some credit and why not test it.11
