We all have seen the movie Madagascar that is an animation showing how animals from the town zoo search a way to go in the wild and feel in their element.
When they do that they realize that it was better staying in the zoo from where they have left. Being zoo animals it’s very hard for them to adapt in the wild life, because they have to learn new things and survive in an environment that is not friendly and comfortable as the one we had before.
The Madagascar movies had a great success to the audience because they showed funny situations involving the animals that lived in the zoo and what they did day and night. If we think back of the crazy things that the main characters do we will find that we have characters that we like and characters that we think that are awesome.
The producers of the Madagascar movie thought that since there were some particular characters that deserve to develop and become independent from the movie. In this idea there was launched a TV series about the moist appreciated animals in the movie. Those were the penguins Skipper, Rico, Kowalski and Private. They are like a top secret military organization that basically rules the undergrounds of the zoo being prepared and having plans to apply when needed.
They are like a special trained squad that have everything under control and protect the animals there. Skipper is the leader of the team; he gives orders and looks after his men. Kowalski is in charge with the percentage of success of the mission and intelligence not to mention studies and scientific facts.
Rico is the one responsible with the munitions and armory. He likes to blow everything up and often he ignores the captain and tries to do things his way.
They have a lot of fun and they have conflicts with King Julian who they met in the jungle and decide to join them at the zoo in order to become the king of the zoo as well. The penguins have their own rules and act according to strict plans every time they go into battles and have something new in mind to apply.
The funny penguins caught the eye of the public and due to this factor they have now their own TV series in which they are the main characters and they make all the action seem like a war game placed on the battle field that is the New York Central Zoo.
They are stars in on screen and they are very amusing that we like to see more of them when we open the TV and we like to see their adventures in the zoo and in what troubles they get into. Being “cute and cuddly” makes everyone notice them while they are admiring. At night when the zoo closes they become something else and they take care of the things that others don’t know how to handle.

The TV series became popular as more people watch the penguins do crazy and unexpected things. Until now the penguins of Madagascar have a 7.9 stars rating on IMDB and got 180 votes from the users of the site.
It’s interesting to see parts of the animals that we think we know so better evolving into something that we don’t expect and see them in a different light and doing something unexpected and new.
So if we want to see how animals act after they are in their own element and have the chance of doing what they want without anyone noticing that, we must watch the show to convince ourselves that animals have their own way of thinking and acting beside the one that we already know.
