Theories About Aliens
The researchers have stated that in case that we will be able to find other life forms in the Universe, we should expect the worst.
According to them, if we are not alone in the Universe, the other life beings are similar to use from an intellectual point of view, or they are more advanced than us. They use fuel and resources, and it is very likely that they will want to use ours, or to habituate other planets, just like we plan to do. The researchers have stated that this is the only valid option because of the laws of evolution. If aliens exist, it is very likely that they have evolved just as we do. It is very likely that they use technology just as we do, and that they will reach to a point where the resources from their planet are no longer enough. However the latest study stated that there is a very strong possibility that we are alone in the Universe, and the reason for that is the fact that we have not found them yet. Since they would be more evolved than us, they would be able to find us. Since that has not happened yet, it is very likely that they do not exist. Simon Conway Morris, of the University of Cambridge, is the one who conducted the study. He believes that the aliens do not exist because if they would exist, we would have found clues of their existence. According to him, even if they exist in a very distant galaxy, it is very unlikely that we will come in contact with them anytime soon. Conway said that the theories that life can not exist in certain regions is not true.
He has stated that there are numerous cases in which life form was found here on Earth in some of the weirdest places. These regions had very high or low temperatures, various pressures, salinity, and so on. Life was still found there, and because of that, it is very likely that life could exist in space as well. He also stated that evolution takes place in the same way regardless of the species, and if aliens exist, then it is very likely that they would be similar to us from various points of view. He said that it is very likely that they would not look like us, but from a technological point of view they would be just as evolved. He believes that the aliens would be interested in conquering us, and not in collaborating with us. This opinion has been shared by many scientists, one of the most popular of them being Stephen Hawking. Hawking said that it is very likely that the aliens are interesting in gathering our resources, and that they would do anything in order to do it, even if that would mean to annihilate us. However, he stated that we should not worry because based on the clues, or the lack of clues would be more suiting to say, the aliens do not exist.
You see, the Universe is very large, and our galaxy is very young. Now since the other galaxies are older than ours, if the aliens would have existed, they would have been much more evolved than us. They would have managed to find us by using their technologies. They would have been ahead of us with tens of thousands of years, and it is very likely that their technologies would have been very advanced. They either do not care about finding us, or they do not exist. Conway said that even if the distance between galaxies is very big, they would have been able to make contact with us. Another research was done in the domain, and it stated that the aliens would not be harmful, because they would be in a very basic microscopically state. As you can see, the two theories contradict each other completely. Psychologist Albert Harrison believes that if we would fine alien life form it would be under the form of bacteria, microbes, or other similar structures. Harrison said that the majority of the people imagine the aliens as being human-like creatures because they saw them in the movies portrayed in that manner. They hope that they will be friendly as E.T, when in reality they could be more like the Predator, or the Aliens from the well known move franchises. He stated that even if they exist, they could be very difficult to find because of the large size of the Universe. He believes that it is a matter of luck and not of skill when it comes to finding someone in the galaxy. In the case that they do exist, and that they are evolved, he believes that they will not be aggressive. Even if they are, he believes that we would be tougher than them. He stated that here on Earth there have been numerous instances when a dominant empire was not able to survive for a very long time, as it was beaten by the inferior ones. The same thing would happen to the aliens if they would try to conquer us. Of course, these opinions are pure speculations.
It seems that the majority of the people who believe in the aliens believe that they are friendly, and not hostile. What do you think?11
