In what follows I am going to present you some of the biggest mysteries of the unexplained. These are certain tales which define all logic, and which do not have an explanation. These are the biggest mysteries of the unexplained.

The Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp

It is said that The Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp is a humanoid cryptid which is located in the swamps near Lee County, South Carolina. People say that he has more than 2 meters, or 7 feet, that he is very well built, and that his skin is green, similar to the one of the lizards. It has three toes at his feet and three fingers at his hands. The first encounter with the beast was done on June 29, 1988, by Christopher Davis, who said that he saw it when he came back from work at 2 A.M. He said that he stopped to change a tire near the swamp when he heard someone running towards him. He said that it was the creature, and that he quickly got into the car and drove off. According to him, the creature got on top of his car and held onto it, until he finally managed to shake it off.

The top of the car was full of scratches, and the mirror was damaged, and soon afterwards the people who stated that they encountered it, had the same issues with their cars. All of these encounters took place within a 5 kilometer radius of the Bishopville swamp. Soon after this incident, the sheriff’s department made numerous plaster cast of something which appeared to be a foot with three toes.

The Hopkinsville Goblins

This is a well known incident amongst the UFO experts. The event took place on August 21, 1955, near the towns of Kelly and Hopkinsville, and it lasted for a whole day and night. The UFO experts have stated that this is the longest incident of this kind, and it also has the largest number of witnesses involved. Numerous people stated that they saw five three feet creatures which hovered above the ground.

Some of them even stated that they shot at them, but it was useless, as they did not get affected by the bullets. According to the witnesses the creatures were three feet tall, they had big and floppy ears, a big head, and shining eyes. They said that the creatures approached them, so they started shooting at them without any point. The creatures stood in the area for numerous hours, passing them by numerous times.

Summerwind Mansion

The Summerwind Mansion is one of the most well known houses from the United States of America, as it is considered to be one of the haunted places from the country. It is located in West Bay Lake in Vilas County, North East Wisconsin. The mansion is heavily damaged, as it has suffered a lot over the time. It stood at the mercy of the elements, and it was damaged by numerous fires. The structure was created in the early 1900s, and it was intended to be a fishing lodge. It was bought by Robert P. Lamont in 1916, and he decided to turn it into a mansion. He stood in the house for 16 years, during which he kept on telling his maids that the house was haunted. He decided to abandon the house in 1930, after he saw an apparition in the kitchen.

Arnold and Ginger Hinshaw together with their four children moved into the house in 1970. They said that they experienced numerous creepy things, such as seeing shadows moving around in the house, hearing whispers which stopped when they approached them, windows opening by themselves, and so on. Ginger tried to commit suicide six months after they moved into the area, whereas Arnold suffered a breakdown. In 1988 the house was destroyed by a lightning which hit it, and what is interesting is that there were taller trees around it.

Clapham Wood Mystery

The Clapham Wood Mystery is represented by a large collection of strange occurrences which take place in the Clapham Wood, West Sussex, England. It is said that people have encountered numerous strange apparitions in the woods; that they disappeared in there; that many of their pets went missing there, and so on. Since the beginning of the 1960s, more and more people have stated that they have seen UFOs in the proximity of the woods. Numerous people have stated that they felt as if someone or something was following them, some have said that they saw gray mist forming, and so on.

What makes things interesting is the fact that the area has high levels of radiation, even if it should have low levels, as it is located on top of chalk. Four people died in the woods, their bodies being found out after years or months after their death. The coroners have declared that they did not commit suicide, but that their deaths have opened verdicts.

Bridgewater Triangle

The area is located in southeastern Massachusetts in the United States, and since the colonial age, people have stated that there is something wrong with it.  Numerous people have stated that they have seen UFOs in the area, or that they have been followed by a black helicopter around the area. Some have said that they have seen balls of energy there, or that they have seen Bigfoot in it. The Devil Swamp, officially called Hockomock Swamp, is located in the center of the area and it is said that it is located on top of an Indian burial ground, which we all know from the movies that is a recipe for disaster.

It seems that the most common appearances in the area are the spooklights, which are orbs of energy which move around in a chaotic manner. These kind of lights have been seen in numerous places from the world, but it seems that they are the most common in swamps and in woods.
