$40,000 per night: Hugh Hefner Sky Villa at Palms Casino & Resort – Las Vegas

Playboy or no Playboy, Hugh Hefner is known for living large and for the “modest” fee of $40,000 per night, you can taste a bit of that luxury yourself. It is very difficult to describe the sensation you get from sitting on the same sofas where Kayne West and T-Pain once used to sit. With a Playboy Jacuzzi and all the possible facilities you could imagine, the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa is certainly the place to be if you are interested in luxury vacations and relaxation.

Where should I begin to describe this place? Should I start with the gym which is fully equipped even with its own sauna or maybe you are more interested in the round rotating bed. What else is there…? Oh yes, you get your own poker table, spa, a glass elevator and an outdoor terrace which is going to offer a direct view to Las Vegas Strip.

Aside from having your very own media room, you can always feast your eyes on the Playboy art collection. With all this luxury lying around it makes you wonder what it would be like if you really were Hugh Hefner.

$65,000 per night: Royal Penthouse Suite, President Wilson Hotel – Geneva, Switzerland

According to a Yahoo! Finance report dating August 26, 2009, “the Royal Penthouse Suite at the President Wilson Hotel in Geneva, Switzerland, tops the list as the most expensive hotel room in 2009, commanding $65,000 for its four-bedroom penthouse”. In other words, the Royal Penthouse Suite takes luxury at a whole new level.

Booking it seems to be a very difficult thing to do not only because it is too expensive, but also because you need to take this all the way up to the hotel’s chairman. Just by taking a look at the pictures, you can tell from miles away that this is the most luxurious suite on Earth. The four bedrooms offer a view towards the Geneva Lake and Mont Blanc, a view that would make people fall in love with Geneva. However, since it is very difficult for regular people to book a room, businessmen are the main category of customers which have access to this suite and they are probably not so interested in the view.

Accessing the Royal Penthouse Suite can be done only by a private elevator and the facilities available are top of the line. The suite is equipped with bulletproof windows and doors and there are 6 bathrooms available to all the four bedrooms. Located near the United Nation headquarters could explain part of the fee required to book this suite.11
