Who Should Optimize the Website for the Search Engines?
Whose duty is to optimize the Website in order to be more visible for the search engines? This question most is raised by many Website owners. Of course it is the webmaster’s job, they answer, to make the website appropriate in terms of search engine optimization and get different positions in the rankings. But this is only partially true. Indeed, there are tasks that are particularly performed by the owners of those pages. Only some of them are presented:
* Finding the right keywords
The owner knows best the field within he operates. With Google Adwords you can find the most appropriate keywords.
* Editing content
Defining the contents page is a primary task. The Content owns the Title tags, Meta Description and Meta Keywords. The text page should not be made only after the requirements of search optimization. (Since it is primarily addressed to visitors of human origin.)
* Increasing the popularity of the links
After building the website, the most important task is to procure as many backlinks as you can, valuable and relevant. This article focuses specifically on this.

Optimizing a Website for search engines consists of two parts:
1. Internal organization of the site
Placing the right keywords and the content of each page separately. Organizing the structure of the internal links. The proper availability of the pages. Choosing the right text for the tags Title, meta keywords, meta description, heading and body.
2. Backlinks (references to the site and the Website’s pages) – which is the number and quantity of the pages, thus the popularity through links.
The owners who do not want to optimize their personal page, usually ask an expert. That would be cool; the specialist makes the necessary changes, finalizes the manpower and he receives his fee and completes the search engine optimization page. This of course has to have a good effect, but most owners neglect one very important thing.

The search engine optimization does not depend only on your own site’s organisation, but there is necessary to carry out tasks that belong to the owner. The most important of these is the popularization of the page. Volume of work and expansion will make rarely the specialist to deal with this for months. Of course this is payable, but it is recommended to do your own spreading because you can do this best, not a specialist who work on your site for a few weeks or a month.
I cannot emphasize enough how important is the popularity through links. The purchase of the backlinks is not a task that you do one time, it requires a continuous and systematic work and the owners are the ones which can make the most effective pages. They know best their pages and areas of functioning.
Of course, you can set this task to an employee, or a firm specialized in the field, but this is not not sure it deserves. Popularization of the pages is a continuous process without end, that should be made permanent. At first it will be greater momentum, the possibilities are multiple, the development will be higher, then increasingly more difficult. If hiring a professional’s work will be expensive, because most of them must be paid by their time spent working on your site, and if the owner does not deal with it, the results may be negative unfortunately.

But if the owner makes this work, then everything will be in his hand, he will know with precision with which partners to work and which references help him to purchase the backlinks. The popularization of the pages does not require HTML knowledge, anyone is capable, but they must take care of the quality of their partnerships. It is not an easy job, but I would rather call it perpetual than hard.

Increasing the PageRank value is not the sole aim of popularizing the Website through links. In the case of a new site, or in the case of sites which are not that popular, the popularization through links should start with the records of the collections of links (web directory). We must try to record all the collections of existing links in as many relevant categories. If pages written in English language must rely primarily on English collections, the multilingual sites rely on existing collections in the respective language. If the pages in English find many collections, in the case of the other languages, we have to look less.

It is therefore important to begin with the collections of links, because following the records created by these collections makes our page stronger (PageRank) and so it will be easier to build partnerships. Google PageRank value, is always changing, but the value encountered on Toolbar is only updated after a few months. The popularization through links is a long process. After the records in collections, you must wait several months to go until the value on Toolbar will be updated, but after that we can begin developing partnerships through the exchange of links, because the page owners prefer to deal with powerful Websites.
In developing partnerships it is recommended sharing links with relevant pages. Of course they are few, but keep in mind their quality too. Now I am talking about their beauty. It is important that our partners to not be penalized. An improper backlink could destroy all of our efforts made so far. The situation is even worse, if we refer to a page penalized.
